The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had released the sample papers for class 10 and class 12 board examination 2020 back in the month of September, 2019. Now, board has released a circular to announce an important update regarding CBSE sample papers and syllabus for both classes 10th, 12th. Board in its circular, dated 06: 11:2019, has instructed all the stakeholders to consider the format of latest CBSE Sample Question Papersfor upcoming Board Examinations 2020, and not the Design given in the Curriculum released by the boardin month of April, 2019.

Schools advised to conduct pre-board exams according to latest changes
CBSE has also suggested all its schools to follow the design of sample papers while preparing question papers for Pre-Board Examinations as it will help students to become familiar with the changes made by CBSE which will in turn help them to remove stress during the Board Examinations.

CBSE released the sample papers of all subjects of class 10 and class 12 in the month of September, 2019. All the sample papers were published with a design different than what was followed in previous two years of examinations, i.e., 2018 and 2019. Major change is the inclusion of more number of objective type questions and that too designed in different formats like, fill in the blanks, mcqs, assertion-reason type, questions based on pictures, etc. Since, CBSE has clearly announced that the question papers in upcoming board exams will be entirely based on the design of latest CBSE sample papers, therefore all students should thoroughly analyse the CBSE Sample Papers 2020 which can be accessed from following links:
Follow CBSE syllabus to prepare right stuff for Board Exams
Earlier, CBSE has issued a notice, recommending, all students to prepare for Board Exam 2020 according to the syllabus suggested by the board and not as in the NCERT books. Actually, in some particular contents or parts of the NCERT books for classes 9- 10, it is mentioned that the particular part of the book. CBSE, through its circular, made it clear that board question papers will be strictly based on the CBSE syllabus released in the beginning of this session, i.e., in April, 2019.
